My name is Alexander Mody. I was born in October of 1990, in Springfield, Virginia. Since I was a kid I’ve enjoyed taking photographs. Through trips to Shenandoah National Park with my Grandfather, and a few family vacations, I began to develop a very strong interest in the natural world. This, combined with the fact that I have always loved to have a camera in my hand, is what has really inspired me to become interested in nature photography. I currently live in Vienna, Virginia, and I try to make the best of every photographic opportunity that comes my way.
Simply put, there is nothing I enjoy more than photographing the natural world. I hope that through my photographs and this website, I can share my perspectives with others.
Also, for those who are interested, I shoot with Nikon cameras and lenses. I also make heavy use of Singh-Ray Graduated Neutral-density filters.
